1. Introduction
Welcome to Arrow Out: Tap Logic Puzzle ("App", "we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our mobile application available on Android and iOS.
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The following data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to our servers:
- Level Progress: Which levels you have completed, your current level, and per-level state (lives remaining, failed attempts) — stored in a local SQLite database.
- App Preferences: Sound on/off, haptics on/off, dark mode, gameplay guidelines, and other settings — stored locally via AsyncStorage.
- Rating Prompt Tracking: Counters used to decide when to show the in-app rating prompt (app opens, days installed, levels completed) — stored locally; no identifying information.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
The following data is automatically collected through third-party SDKs (see Section 5 for full details):
- Device Information: Device model, operating system version, and pseudonymous device identifiers used by Firebase and Google AdMob.
- Usage Events: Screens viewed, levels started, levels completed, levels failed, hints used — sent to Firebase Analytics without any personally identifiable information.
- Ad Interaction Data: Impressions and clicks on banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads — collected by Google AdMob, subject to your consent choice.
- Crash & Performance Data: If the App unexpectedly closes, anonymous crash diagnostics may be sent to Firebase to help us improve stability.
2.3 Device Permissions Used
| Permission | Purpose | Shared Externally? |
|---|---|---|
| Internet | Required to fetch remote configuration, deliver ads, and send anonymous analytics events. | Via third-party SDKs only |
| Vibration | Haptic feedback when you tap an arrow, complete a level, or fail a move. Can be disabled in Settings. | No |
The App does not request access to your camera, microphone, photo library, contacts, location, or any other sensitive permission. You can manage all permissions through your device settings at any time.
3. App Features & Data Practices
Puzzle Gameplay
The core game runs entirely on your device. Tap-to-fire mechanics, level rendering, and hint computation all happen locally. Level definitions are bundled with the App and are not fetched at runtime.
Progress & Save System
Your completed levels and current level are saved in a local SQLite database so you can pick up where you left off. This data lives only on your device and is permanently deleted when you uninstall the App. You can also wipe it at any time via Settings → Reset Progress.
Bulb Hint
A built-in solver looks at your current board and suggests the next safe move. The solver runs entirely on-device — no board state is transmitted anywhere. On post-tutorial levels, watching a short rewarded ad is required to unlock the hint (see Section 5.1 for ad partner details).
Daily Lives / Refill
When you run out of lives on a level, the App may offer the option to watch a short ad to refill them. This is optional; restarting the level is always free.
Rating Prompt
After you have played the App a few times, we may show a one-time prompt asking you to rate us on the App Store / Play Store. Tapping "Rate Us" opens the store's native review sheet. We never see your rating or review text directly.
4. How We Use Your Information
The information collected is used to:
- Run the game and save your progress between sessions
- Display advertisements through Google AdMob
- Analyze anonymous usage patterns to improve difficulty curves, level design, and App performance
- Remotely tune gameplay parameters (e.g. ad frequency, hint availability) without requiring an App update
- Diagnose and fix crashes
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
5. Third-Party Services & SDKs

5.4 In-App Purchases (Future)
The App may, in a future release, offer optional in-app purchases (for example, an ad-removal upgrade). When introduced, all payment processing will be handled by the App Store / Google Play and any purchase verification provider will be disclosed here.
